Grub Boy is a
collaboration between Laura Boyce and Matt Gruber. They have come
together as artists in different mediums to celebrate life with
their ideas about society through the vessel. The vessel creates
a surface for the narrative nature of the imagery to become interactive
with the viewer. The roundness of the form also conveys a blurred
sense of time commonly found in dreams. The main concern is not
that the viewer understands a specific message from the piece, but
that they leave it confident that the narrative was well executed.
