Forms and
Shapes: Narrative Vessel
2005
Juror: Dan Anderson
AKAR is pleased to announce the third in a series of annual juried exhibitions.
The 2005, “Forms and Shapes: Narrative Vessel” will be juried
by Dan Anderson. Dan is looking for pots that utilize story telling
in a myriad of techniques with both thrown and hand built ceramic vessels
or a combination of the two. AKAR is anxious for ceramic artists to
submit entries of their work that have combined surface imagery with
their unique vessel. Whether the stories/images are drawn on with glaze
pencil, painted on with china paints/ colored slips or carved into the
clay with a carving tool, luster glazed or by applying ceramic decals….
the sky is the limit. Visit our website, www.akardesign.com, to see
